Adalia is an emerging designer at the intersection of interior design and architectural lighting, currently pursuing an MFA in Lighting Design at Parsons School of Design. Her background includes project coordination in luxury retail construction and interior design, where she developed a structured approach to design processes and team collaboration.
Her interior design foundation, combined with her focus on architectural lighting, allows her to understand spaces holistically. Beyond professional work, Adalia explores the relationship between light and space through film and digital photography, specializing in capturing architectural environments and natural light conditions.
As a multilingual professional with international education, Adalia brings global perspective and cultural understanding to her creative practice. She continuously expands her expertise through new design software and techniques while maintaining proficiency in industry-standard tools.
Committed to inclusive design principles, Adalia volunteers with disability and visually impaired communities. This engagement, including learning ASL to better serve diverse populations, along with youth educational mentorship, enriches her approach to creating accessible and meaningful spaces.
